(the list of previous recipients of this award is impressive and includes sir chris hoy, jessica ennis-hill cbe, tom daley, ellie simmonds obe and dame sarah storey.) in august 2016, charlie reached the semi finals in both singles and mixed doubles, and the final in the boys' doubles, at the refrath cup in cologne, defeating players from france, germany, belgium and the netherlands on the way. a week later, charlie won a silver and two bronze medals at... ida – year 12 when year 12 athlete ida competed for gb and came 19th at the 16-19 world triathlon championships in rotterdam this summer, it was only her third ever triathlon event. ida, who is studying sport and pe as one of her a level subjects, trains six days a week, including swimming twice a week and cycling once a week with thames valley triathletes, and running almost every day. she also competes as a runner for windsor slough eton and hounslow athletic club, and competes for blue coat during the cross country season. latest blues news news video headmaster's desk events social media latest 5,4,3,2,1… rocket power!
